Okay, so here is the setup for the panel discussion. Essentially there is a secret room in virtual harlem where allegedly a second life avatar can take control of a first life human. We have three avatars from Virtual Harlem who were members of the Hellfighters, who we expect to take a first life body. We are going to have the rare and exclusive opportunity to interview these people and possible get them together to combine ideas. There may be some controversial issues discussed. Currently we have 1LT Tandy, SGT Johnson, and 2LT Europe slated to interview; however, that is very tentative and subject to change.
Once the panel discussion has been video-taped and posted, around the first week in November, I would like to encourage folks to view the panel discussion and post questions to our guests. Of course time will be an issue as they will eventually need to return to Second Life and give the humans control of their bodies again. If you are wondering whether or not it is fair for an avatar to take a human body and move it around and chat through it, ask yourself this, does anyone ever ask their avatar if it is okay to move around, or use that gesture, or engage that person in a private chat. No! You just use them until you have to return to real life. So, please, don't be over-critical of these poor avatars who just want to expereince the real world for a change.
