Introduction

Hello, my name is Mark Wigginton. I go to University in Missouri and this blog will be tracking my progress as I study and learn about the Harlem Hellfighters; the 369th Infantry Regiment. I look forward to sharing with you, whomever you are. Please feel free to post your questions and comments. This project will be culminated in a virtual bot in SecondLife. The bot will be a sort of Museum Guide in Virtual Harlem, in the Hellfighters Museum there. Tentatively, the bot will be Captain Charles Fillmore, chosen since he was the initial sponsor of the unit and then later received his commission as Captain. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American War also; however, there will be more information on him as time elapses. My greatest information leak at the moment is the actual military unit structure of the 369th Infantry Regiment, if you have any information on that please let me know, also if you are a secondlifer and would like to meet with me in-world, just let me know. My SecondLife name Mark32 Francois, it's a winner. This project is slated to be completed by late November. Okay, that's all I can think of in the way of introductions, so let's get cookin!

Thursday, October 14th
     I have just finished structuring the Overview Page. The outlines are yet to be completed, but all the links work good :) This has taken way longer than I originally anticipated. I am going to finish making the structures and links for all the pages, then I will go back and work on the outlines. It's hard for me to think about HTML and then think about history ;) I get my wires crossed. By this weekend I hope to have all the links and such, up and working, then the outlines will come up. Once that is completed the fun part of the project can begin with the panel discussion, video game, and ultimately the SecondLife bots. If you have any comments please, please, please post them.
